Having never organized a party before, I was a little bit concerned when my sister in law suggested that I organize a baby shower for her and ever growing baby bump! I had heard lots of stories of amazing baby showers from American friends, but had actually never been to one myself. I recently did a piece for OK!TV showing how to throw a stunning baby shower. I decorated a room in my house to show how I would arrange a baby shower table setting and explained what would be involved for the guests. I used our vintage sandwich stands; vintage style table cloths; vintage cake stands; and vintage style plates to create a pretty girlie floral backdrop.Read more here |

My mum and sister, Carley, actually organised the shower for me, I simply sent them a list of all my friends and they contacted them for their addresses. They then sent out the invites, which they bought from your website - which were a massive hit with them all! They were so cute and were personalised. Becky actually broke the news to me that she was expecting her first child by asking me if I could organise a Baby Shower. Once I had twigged it was her I would be doing it for and had stopped jumping about in excitement, we set about deciding on a theme, venue, guest list and date. We decided it would be held at her house on Sunday 26th September from 2pm, about 6 weeks before the baby was due. My baby shower was on Saturday 31st July 2010 and it took place on the roof top garden of the apartment building of where I live. In preparation leading up to the baby shower my mum ordered themed invitations for the guests. This theme was of a pregnant lady holding an umbrella, which I ordered from TUBS.
